Outdoor Flu Shot Clinic This Weekend
This weekend at the Burnaby Green P at 125 Burnaby Blvd (Avenue and Eglinton) there is a community outdoor flu shot clinic on:
- Saturday, November 7, 2020 - 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunday, November 8, 2020 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
There is availability for both the regular flu shot for those 6 months to 64 years of age and the high dose flu shot for those 65 years of age and older. To attend, please book an appointment online at: myflushot.ca/Burnaby.
Please note you will need to sign up for an account on myflushot.ca. before an appointment can be booked.

Flu Shot Update Oct 20th,2020
Given the increased demand for flu shots this year, we are encouraging patients to access pharmacies and community clinics for their flu shots when possible.
Our office flu clinics will be by appointment only, for children under 5 and seniors 65+. If you feel that you need to attend our office due to specific health concerns, please contact us.

Update Regarding Flu Vaccines for 2020-2021 Flu Season
We are urging everyone to get their flu shot this year in order to prevent the health-care system from being flooded with both influenza and COVID-19 patients as the province grapples with a potential second wave.
We are hopeful that flu shots should be available in the next few weeks. As usual, we will be prioritizing those at high-risk (e.g. adults 65 years of age and older, pregnant women, children under 5 years of age, and those with underlying health conditions such as diabetes, cancer, heart, kidney or lung disease).
More details on when we will be holding flu shot clinics will be available soon. Stay tuned for an email with these updates. Please note that we are unable to book appointments for flu shots until we have the vaccines in the office.
Please also be advised that this year pharmacies will have the high-dose vaccine for adults aged 65 years and older. The flu-mist nasal spray vaccine for children will not be available at the office or pharmacies this year. Wherever possible, please visit your pharmacy for the flu shot.
